Announcements

Sunday Pre-Service Prayer. Please join us on Sunday mornings from 8:15–8:45 a.m. in the Upper Room (except for Sundays when we have Church-Wide Prayer during Equipping Hour).

Olive Crest Backpack Drive. Our annual backpack drive for Olive Crest foster youth is here! Please sign up to donate items and RSVP to also let us know if you can make it to the backpack stuffing day on Sunday, July 30 from 1–4 PM at the Yang's house (pizza potluck lunch and swimming). All backpacks and supplies will be delivered to Olive Crest on August 31st. If you would like to donate funds, please send via Venmo to @michyang122.

Millican Open House. Jared and Claire Millican are preparing to work alongside our missionaries to the Czech Republic, Marcus and Amie Denny and Jeena Lim. Our Roots students are getting to know them at Roots Retreat, where Jared is the camp speaker. If you’d like to get to know them and hear about their plan to serve in Kladno, please stop by the Macklers between 2-5pm on Saturday, August 5th. Grab a prayer card and learn how you can support the Millicans!

Save the Date! Spend time with our missionary Jeena Lim who is here on furlough this summer. Please mark your calendars and join us for these events. Additional details will be forthcoming.

Angels Game. Mark your calendar! Thursday, August 3rd vs the Seattle Mariners. Tickets will be $8. Polus and Desiree Ting will be managing tickets again this year. To reserve your tickets, please use the linked form.

Membership Class, September 10th. If you are curious about membership at CBC, don’t miss the first week of our membership class with Pastor Joshua! Anyone is welcome. The class will meet at 9 a.m. in the Upper Room. (For those wishing to continue in the membership process, the class will last eight weeks.) Questions? Please contact James Lee or Adam Bakonis.
