Talking missions on Saturday, praying together on Sunday morning, and then listening to God speak to us through His Word.
We’ve got a good weekend ahead of us!
If you have a minute, why don’t you take a little time and read Luke 10:25–37? We’re going to be looking at the parable of the Good Samaritan together. It’s a very familiar parable. I’m also afraid that it’s often misunderstood.
I’m kind of excited because this Sunday I feel like I have the chance to introduce you to an old friend you think you know and reveal some things about him that will shock you and make you wonder how well you knew him while causing you to love him more than you ever did before. (Actually scratch kind of. I’m totally excited.)
If that makes sense to you, great!
If not, I hope it will make more sense by the time we’re done.
I’m praying God will use our time together this weekend to show us how great Jesus is and what He is accomplishing through Him really is. I’m also praying that He will continue to transform us and make us into a church that makes an impact in people’s lives not just for the next few years, but for eternity.

VBS & Set-up. This Sunday, 1:30–5:00 p.m., all volunteers are invited to help set up the church for VBS. VBS begins this Monday, and takes place June 26th–29th, 6–9 p.m., for students entering Transitional Kindergarten to 6th grade this fall. Please use this link to register.
