There’s no one more important than Jesus. There are also few people more misunderstood.
If you have unbelieving friends this would be a great Sunday to invite them to our worship service, as we are going to be looking at who Jesus is and how we should respond.
Equipping hour is going to be important as well.
You know why we are doing equipping hour? We want to help you be a person who makes an impact for Jesus. That drives us! We believe you have been called by God, gifted by God, and placed on this planet right now for a reason. In other words, you are not just existing. You have a purpose! There’s a reason you are here. What’s the reason? Well, there are different ways we could answer that question, but one important way is just by quoting what Jesus says in Matthew 28.
Go and make disciples!
You want to make an impact? You want to live God’s purpose for your life?
Make disciples.
But how?
Now, we are talking.
If you are asking that question, good, good, good! When you stand before Jesus, I want you to be able to say, my church taught me how to make disciples. And when did we do that? One time we are specifically focusing on how to obey the great commission is during our Equipping Hour. This Sunday we will be thinking specifically about how to teach those you are discipling.
(And that includes your kids!)
Come ready! Come expectant! Come praying!
