This Sunday I want to help you be amazed by the grace God’s shown you in Christ and excited about the work He is doing in the church.
First of all, the church. If you are a Christian, God’s given you the opportunity to serve Him in the most important institution on the planet.
The next two weeks we are going to spend time in Equipping Hour enjoying some testimonies of how God is at work specifically at Cornerstone Bible, thinking together about His mission and vision for the church, and hearing some exciting updates about what’s ahead.
Then back to Luke! Let’s just say I can’t wait. We’re going to be looking at a classic passage, but one I’ve come to see a bit differently than before. I’m praying God helps me be clear and that He opens our eyes to see just how good Jesus is.
Come ready to worship! Come expecting God to speak to you through His Word! And, come praying that God would change you as a result!
Joshua
I’ve included some things in the sermon brief document that I think will help you and your children benefit from the message this Sunday. Check them out. Print out what’s helpful. Or perhaps you can come up with a better plan yourself. For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the word, “grace.” To encourage them, Marda will have some treats afterward.
We have started a question and answer podcast that we hope you will find helpful. Check it out here. If you have any questions you would like the pastors here at CBC to discuss, please send them here. I’m working on some short podcasts-style recordings on marriage and family. You can find them here.
This Sunday, May 15th, and the following Sunday, May 22nd. God is working at CBC! Please plan on attending both hours so that you can stay informed about what God is doing at CBC and know how to pray for your church! There’s so much to share…we couldn’t keep it to one hour. (Non-members are welcome to attend!)
