I can’t wait for Sunday!

Here are three specific reasons to be excited:

1. In our Equipping hour we are learning how to build relationships that help others change.
2. This Sunday is “Orphan Sunday” and during our worship service, we are going to be looking at James 1:27 and discussing why caring for the vulnerable matters so much. Also, we are going to highlight some opportunities for you to get involved in this important work.
3. At the end of our service, we have a real special announcement about one of our members. (How’s that for cryptic?)

Come ready! Come praying! Come expectant!

I’ve included some things in the sermon brief document that I think will help you and your children benefit from the message this Sunday. Check them out. Print out what’s helpful. Or perhaps you can come up with a better plan yourself. For the younger children this Sunday, you can have them listen for the word, “orphan.” To encourage them, my wife Marda will have some treats afterward.
